One day left

I still have to pack my room and say goodbye to some who will not be coming back.

Hopefully we'll find out what we are teaching - but we are already getting assignments by the chair, regardless. (And, she is picking people's strengths to get jobs done, so this is good)

Two long days and I am more ready for a nap than for chores.

I have four more days. monday & tuesday will be block schedule for underclassmen finals (the seniors are long gone); tuesday afternoon is graduation; thursday is a minimum day with the faculty luncheon in the afternoon. It is all coming to a close.

And I am sure it is bittersweet.

This was my first graduation with kids that I taught. I am overwhelmed.

We have classes until 6/14 and then regents exams.

This is the first graduation I will miss in over 30 years of teaching as I will be in LA for a Bar Mitzvah. I'm happy about the trip but sad about missing graduation. I have lots of seniors.
