Don't tell my AP but I let my ADD kids use their iPods. It keeps them quiet and helps them focus.
Don't tell mine but if they do their work I will let them do almost anything. (ipod, mp3, even cell phone) as lon as the work and learning takes place.
Very interesting - I definitely believe that music can help persuade a mood but I don't know that I would've thought to use it in class. Great thinking!
