You dub enough people "administration" and everyone has to assign work to have results to justify their position.
And there is no listening to the cries from below of "enough already".
The county next to us has a week off. Dang, I wish we did.

I usta say that teaching was the best job I ever quit. Now that I'm a low-level functionary in the local "state-designated" (public, non-profit) mental health agency, I'm rethinking that decision daily.
I hope you at least have Monday off for Presidents' Day. Hang in there, spring break is coming soon!
Teachers do not receive enough thanks. I'm reminded of that every time I visit your blog. So I'm thanking you for doing the best you can when faced with too many administrators, too little funding, and too many disinterested students.
