I have a student who barks. I don't know why. Other than he wants attention and thinks this is cool. He does this when I am writing on the board. I do believe it is time to go back to the overhead projector - and move him to the seat in front of me.
Woof.

Writing on the board is bad news, as you know, because you have to turn your back to the kids. For the first time in several years, I find myself in a school with no overhead projector, no LCD projector--no nothing, except a whiteboard and markers. I wish I had eyes in the back of my head!
