Oh, the view through students' eyes.

New year. A student asked me what I did when I graduated from college. "Got a job. Got married. Had children"
Did you get a job at McDonald's?
Now, I know that the economy is such that many college grads would be thrilled with a job at McDonald's and maybe (you think?) these students cannot think beyond the immediate time period, but how does one answer that beyond "No"?
I also had one say, slightly earlier when I mentioned "my husband" in part of a sentence - you're married? Yes, that would be why I wear a wedding ring - and no, I did not say anything except yes.

too funny... the view from a childs' eyes is magical and intriguing!
Good luck with the new class!
Kids!!! They each have their own way of looking at things...and expressing themselves. I know some ask more questions than others. I guess they learn more by being inquisitive!
Happy Saturday!
