I teach repeaters. I am trying to drag them to passing so that they will feel inspired to learn (this has worked in the past). I can do the work on the board, tell them to write it down., give the a quiz ON THE SAME DAMN PROBLEMS and let them use their notes - AND THEY STILL FAIL.

Yep. After a while, though, it feels like pandering; there has to be SOME exchange, doesn't there?
