1)I still haven't heard from Luddite.
2) We did not make AYP.
3) I was promised my schedule a month ago. It just needed to be approved by the PTB. Now, every other day when I look, it has morphed into something else. They can't be assigning students yet, because mine is not the only schedule that is changing. What a mess.

You know what? I DO NOT, for the LIFE of me, understand WHAT is so flipping hard about putting schedules together. Just once, I'd like to leave the end of one term with a good idea of what I'll be teaching the next. As it is, I had exactly 8 days notice the last time I switched classes. I managed to do okay, but that's not the point, now, is it? (though, in the interest of fairness, I have to say that I'm about 97% sure about what I'm teaching this coming September, so I'm really just ranting for you.)
Here's hoping your administration pulls its head of of its collective ass sometime SOON.
I can relate to this. Here in Philly it's not unusual for a teacher to find out his/her schedule the day before kids show up. Fun!
And I heard a teacher in another county saying that just today - he is trying to prepare for the fall but it is anyone's guess what he'll be teaching.
