I have several kids this year who use cereal boxes as bookbags. Never had this before - and they all seem to be boys.

You cannot fit much in there. Maybe a few pencils and 2 notebookswould fit. Most textbooks would fall through the bottom since they're so heavy.
I bet these kids don't carry notebooks, or pens for that matter.
