Maybe this will convince my students that certain language is best left at home.

In my first class that I ever taught, (I covered a maternity leave for emotionally disturbed elementary students) 1 of the 9 year olds called me a 'shit face, dumb bitch, mother fucker'.
Since I was working with emotionally disturbed children, the best is to just roll with the punches and have a sense of humor.

So my response was, "Well this makes my job easier. At least he knows how to use adjectives."
