I once lived in St. Louis, Mo. and being a snow girl, Michigan and now Minnesota, I knew winter, and it was quite a new thing once an inch fell in St. Louis, and then climbed to 2 inches, and the chains came on the tires, and everything shut down. They sent us home, and my 10 minute compute by freeway became a seven hour ordeal!

My grandchildren do not like snow in the South and this year they have missed 6 days of school.
Overnight Thursday and all day yesterday. Two feet. I love Vermont.
I'm so glad we didn't get any snow here in Tampa Bay, although my daughter would have loved it. She really, really wants to play in some snow.
Can't say same about NY snow.
I love snow in the South too! While I live in the Northwest! :)
