Watching it now too. We'll compare after.
We watched it last night. For the month or so that they've been advertising it, I kept thinking it wasn't for me. But, I gotta say, I didn't hate it! I'm curious to see where it goes. It definitely won't replace Desperate Housewives for me (which I think is ABC's intent) but I'm gonna give it a chance.
My husband was lying in bed next to me while I was watching, and had already said his "good night" at some point during Desperate Housewives. (He left for work yesterday at 4:30am, so I was shocked he was still awake!) However, there was something about GCB that kept sucking him in. He kept rolling over, and watching the show, which cracked me up! I know it had something to do with all the eye candy ;-) He always had a crush on Annie Potts.
